2005 is our 77th Anniversary

Guy T. Cherry founded Cherry Oil in 1928. Today the company is run by his grandson Jay Cherry, Jr. and Armistead Mauck. Company operations are managed by Helen Stilley. Cherry Oil operates five convenience stores under the "C-Mart" name and supplies eight dealer locations with fuel service. C-Mart store offerings include ATM's, Pay-at-Pump fuels, car wash, Java Lane Fresh Brewed Coffees, Byrd's Resturant, Krispy Kreme Donuts, and more. Gas brands include BP/Amoco, Pure, and C-Gas. Cherry Oil also provides short fuel truck deliveries in Kinston, Trenton, Pink Hill, Greenville, New Bern, Morehead City, Jacksonville and many more eastern North Carolina communities. We are also proud to offer Union 76 and Warren lubes and packaged oils.

In the Spring of 2003 Cherry Oil purchased the Dumas Oil Kinston Bulk Fuel Plant and affililiated operations. We are proud to announce that all of the full time employees are still working with us and we have now moved our main office to 2947 Hull Rd. (formerly Dumas Oil). Cherry Oil is now delivering with three full time fuel truck drivers and plans to add a part-time driver for the winter months.

In November of 2004 Cherry Oil concluded the re-imaging of eight branded Amoco fuel sites to the new BP (Beyond Petroleum) image. These sites included three of our C-Mart Stores located in Kinston, three Tony's Friendly Mart's also located in Kinston, our C-Mart Store in Pink Hill, and RightWay #1 in Kinston. We are excited to offer this fresh new look with the same quality Amoco fuels.
